St. Francois County Ambulance District provides the training for professionals, volunteers, and citizens who may respond to a medical emergency.  Randy Davis is the Education Coordinator and oversees all Ambulance District training provided through our state approved training entity status.

Directions:

South on State Route 67 to Fairground Road Exit.  Turn left at end of off-ramp, cross over State Route 67 to “T” intersection.  Turn right on “Flat River Rd.”.  Continue past next stop sign (John Deere dealer is on your right).  Pass used car dealer on your right.  Turn left onto “Wallace” at next stop sign. (Mineral Area Hospital is on your left).  Ambulance building is on your right across from Emergency Department.  Park in lot on east side of building.  Training Center entrance is on South side of building through glass doors.

North on State Route 67 to State Route 32 EAST exit.  (Farmington Exit) Turn left at stop light.  Then turn left on to “Weber” at next stop sign.  Continue to next stop sign.  Turn right on to “Wallace.”  Ambulance building will be on your right across from Mineral Area Hospital Emergency Department. Park in lot on east side of building.  Training Center entrance is on South side of building through glass doors


GENERAL INFORMATION

  • You should wear loose, comfortable clothing especially if your class includes skills practice.
  • You may wish to bring a light jacket, sweater, or coat to class.  Classroom temperature may be difficult to regulate.
  • Unless specified in the course description, lunch is not included.  Several restaurants are within a short drive of our training center.
  • Please advise us if accommodation for a special need is required.  Class rooms may be up stairs and no elevator is available.
  • Certificates and/or cards will be processed and available within 30 days after the completion date of the class.  EXCEPTION - AHA Instructor requires monitoring BEFORE card may be issued.
  • The St. Francois County Ambulance District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, age, religion, creed, or marital or parental basis. 
  • Space may be limited, so register early!!  Registration closes one week prior to a class.
